The e-Commerce Coordinator Denmark or Norway is responsible for setting up a new price and product comparison website Sammenlign.dk in Denmark or Sammenlign.no in Norway. You will be expected to follow, and while executing, improve the country roll out plan. The aim is to gain the market leader position as the best price and product comparison site in Denmark and Norway.
The e-Commerce Coordinator has budget responsibilities: weighing the achievements and targets, developing cost analysis in your area of responsibility, checking the contribution margin and managing the cost per click. In addition to this you will have to draw up, maintain and update a country roll out plan. This allows you to have a clear overview of the sales funnel, the conversion ratio and the customers (webshops). Aside from this you will also assist in planning and executing events and campaigns
The e-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for setting up all categories on the site. In these (sub) categories, you will have to optimize the number and quality of webshops. You will also work toward attracting new shops to the websites service and develop sustainable relationships with the contact person. You will also be managing and executing the administrative procedures, such as the contracts and use of the financial system. Moreover, you must be able to manage the products on the site, the translation of the texts, and the content, to guarantee a highly quality, comprehensive site.
To help you achieve your goals, you can rely on the expertise centres from the international organization, and you will be actively supported by the Business Development manager and the CEO.
Your home base is the head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands (next-door to the Central Station).
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Create, maintain and update a category management plan;
- Acquire and maintain new web shops in all categories (0,4 FTE);

- Manage Adwords campaigns (0,3 FTE);
- Optimize number and quality of web shops per (sub) category;
- Monitoring traffic flows, content and conversion rates;
- Quality of the site (amount of products, usability, content);
- Assist in planning and executing events/campaigns;
- Manage text translations;
- Keep up with the e-commerce and marketing developments in the region;
- You will be responsible for reporting on all categories, searching for exceptions and creating executive summaries with proposed action points.
